"This guy is special without a doubt. First off he's the first son of FS Waylay Attack, a two time Breeder's Cup winner and WB Star Attraction, a half-sister to LSS Gettysburg Hero and Arthur's Excalibur. He's also the only Waylay foal that will ever be born through a crop of mine, all others will be from reserved breedings to Waylay. Aero is swift, fast and a tease. He really is a jokester but go along with it because he just wants to make you happy. He's not a very dominant horse nor is the one who gets bullied all the time. Be patient with Aero as he's a lot like his sire, he never stops moving. He could turn out to be a incredible endurance horse as he has endless speed and energy to burn. The barn jokester Aero has developed into quite the thief, although he does it just out of play, not to be mean or anything. Anything lying out around his stall he'll take and dump inside his stall. Sometimes the object is dropped in a fresh pile of... well... his bathroom pile but for the most part Aero tosses his latest stolen item back into the aisle. He was Mel's favorite in the foal crop a year ago, big, sleek and fast as a bullet. She always knew he would be a good racer in the right home." CCI is thrilled to have Aero with us and we enjoy having the beautiful chestnut stallion in our racing string. He adds a special dynamic with fierce competitiveness but a calm disposition around the barn. When faced with picking a jockey for Aero we decided that Roger should take him on because Aero is thickly built like his sire, Waylay, a competitive turfer in his days. Roger loves to race the chestnut and he is ready to take Aero to the top, doing whatever it takes to do so. The two are on their way and we can't wait to watch their rise to the top!
