Santee came to CCI as a three year old (almost untrained) from HMEC and even then, he was the most willing pony we'd ever seen. Whatever you point this spotted pony towards, he will take with ears forward. He is just a real happy horse! He doesn't ask for much in life, just praise and is content to jump anything, even fences he's done 20 times before. He tackles everything he does with gusto and is always up for a challenge. But this also means that he can get impatient with events that don't involve jumping things so we don't even attempt dressage or many flat events with him. He is especially interesting during jumper events because this guy can whip out a perfect course in a matter of seconds. His height allows him to make amazingly sharp turns and his smarts keep him focused on the job at hand. Santee is just an incredible pony mount (for anyone under 5'5 or so!). We are thrilled to have found a place to keep him as a stud and show pony.
